Professional equipment may enhance the end result, but first and foremost it’s our photographer, Niamh, who uses her skills, experience and creative vision to bring out the best in each property. The location and aspect of each property is researched beforehand to ensure that the images are created at the time of day with the most flattering light possible.

Weather also has a big part to play. Think about it… what is more appealing? A sunlit house with a blue sky behind it or a house drenched in our lovely Irish rain with a dull grey sky?

THE OUTSIDE…

You need that one key shot, the one that has pride of place on the front of the brochure for your property and also various other angles for inside the brochure and for the online listings. Bright, clear images with blue skies are welcoming and inviting. Dull images with overcast or washed out skies not so much. The orientation of the property and the weather are all researched prior to visiting to ensure that each property is photographed at its best.

Then it’s over to you to make sure that the grass has been cut, that the paintwork is clean and clutter has been removed from the outside of the property and garden before we arrive!

We are happy to move a few small objects to help stage how a room looks, it is vital that the house is ready to photograph before we arrive. It needs to be clean and tidy with beds made and free from as much clutter as possible. Hide the extra items in cupboards and wardrobes.. don’t worry, we won’t be photographing inside those 🙂
